Welcome to Courage and Faith. The Winter-Spring 2015 season is underway.

  • The Loft / Winter-Spring

    Ian Morgan Cron

Ian Morgan Cron - Every Sunday, Winter-Spring, 2015 (EXCEPT Apr 5)
The Loft: Sunday Evening Contemplative Worship and Conversation with Ian Morgan Cron
    5:30pm-6:45pm, Parish House Loft, FREE

Traditional church isn’t for everyone. Some enjoy worship that’s varied and spontaneous, offering contemporary music and conversational talks, where the dress code is blue jeans rather than suits and ties, where faith is talked about more as a journey than a destination, and where silence and reflection are deeply valued. If this is you, then mark your calendar and join us for these special nights.

Ian Morgan Cron is curator of the Courage and Faith program. He is an Episcopal priest, counselor, bestselling author, and speaker. He serves as adjunct clergy at Christ Church.

  • Andrew Peterson/ 26 Apr

    Andrew Peterson

    Andrew Peterson--Sun, Apr 26, 2015
Special Guest Artist Andrew Peterson at the Loft
5:30pm concert, Parish House Loft, FREE

Join us at 5:30pm on April 26th for a Loft special guest artist! Andrew Peterson has a fairly simple approach to songwriting: He writes the songs that he himself needs to hear, trusting that there are other people out there who might need them as well. And by the tens of thousands, there have been. Peterson’s most loyal fans, in fact, tend to be those who find resonance with the “glowing ache” that permeates his body of work. But it’s never been the ache of hopelessness or despair. Instead, it’s the ache that comes from deeply loving something that has been lost, and from daring to hope that it will one day be restored. It’s the recognition that any pain we now feel is somehow inseparable from the joy that was intended for us from the creation of the world. And it’s the undying hope that that same pain is also a promise, a forward longing, a deposit of the redemption and restoration of the greater joy that is yet to come.
